Suffice it to say, Mitch Stein and I went there! While addressing white supremacist culture is uncomfortable for many, we can’t dismantle what we refuse to explore. This conversation was a candid opportunity to chart a path towards the equity and justice we’re all aiming for.

The mass shooting in Buffalo is yet another reminder of the anguish that pulses on the surface for so many of us. I struggle to hold another name, face, or story of lives violently stolen without imagining my grandmother, friends, and versions of myself in a mundane grocery store visit turned hateful massacre.

Envisioning an abundant and thriving future illuminates the goalpost but I would venture that we are missing a step. It takes more than a belief in abundance to redistribute wealth.
